Discover Knowles' smallest RAF series balanced armature drivers, delivering premium sound
The RAF Series, including IPx7 models, enables premium hearable and earphone designers greater flexibility to improve critical features such as audio quality, connectivity, battery life, and water resistance without sacrificing size or comfort.
The small size of the RAF Series is an evolution of the successful RAB Series receiver with bottom terminals. It offers the same performances and benefits from high volume production and bottom terminals for an easy implementations on flex or PCB.
It produces a precise, full range sound in a small physical size and is available with two sound profile: sealed or with open back vent for enhanced bass.
RAF-32873-000 - vented
RAF-32902-000 - not vented
Temperatures far in excess of those that will damage the active elements are needed for soldering leads to the units.
It is therefore necessary to ensure that the heat is not transferred from the terminals to the interior of the receiver.
As solution provider, Seltech offers to solder wires on balanced armature receiver thanks to its trained soldering personnel (and proper equipment).
