The correct integration of a microphone is a key point for good sound capture in your product. However, we know that as soon as a microphone is “loaded” with an acoustic path, its frequency response (and more particularly its resonance peak) changes, thus being able to alter the audio band of the signal considered (example of speech key frequencies given below).

Relying on Lumped Element (LEM) models, the response of a full microphone system can be properly predicted and adjusted to the application bandwidth.
